Deleting an Item Class

1. When you first enter the Item Class option a Select An Option window will appear listing all item classes defined within the system. Scroll to the item class you wish to delete and press Enter to select.

2. Command options will appear:

• Change – Select Change to make changes to the item class.
• Delete – Select Delete to delete the item class.
• Exit – Select Exit to exit and return to the Select An Option window.

Select Delete. The item class has now been deleted.

Note: You cannot delete an item class if records associated with the item class are found in the system history or in other tables.
